Malaise in the Employee Rewards: What’s Going On?

Ccomments here are confined to employee rewards, not executive or sales rewards.  Executive rewards have constantly evolved due to shifting legal and regulatory demands. Sales compensation has always been a different beast:  it has different buyers and economic cycles than employee rewards, and sales incentives constantly evolve to meet new business needs.  Much less in employee rewards is enlivening or new.
