From Ramla Bay to the Blue Lagoon, some of Malta’s most famous landmarks have been captured in a series of stunning photographs.

The beaches, streets and churches of the Maltese Islands come to life in the vibrant and dynamic images, which are filled with movement and colour.

Photographer Gerhard Petter captured the stunning scenes during a sightseeing flight around Malta and Gozo earlier this week.

Even the island’s most photographed sites, such as Valletta and St Julian’s are given new life in these striking shots.
